Personalized Tennis Classes in Ibiza for Kids and Adults

I guess what you need to know is that I've been in this industry for more than 25 years and I've literally squeezed the juice out of all areas and aspects of this sport. I was a top player in my country, Romania, and 3rd in the European Junior Ranking. I reached a career high of 449 WTA in singles and 351 WTA in doubles. When I stopped playing tennis professionally, taking the predictable coaching path didn't quite cut it. I felt that it was just not enough; I wanted to explore more. So I started my studies in Ontological Coaching. Why I specifically went into Ontology and not say... on the more motivational mentoring side of the sport, is because positive thinking and pep talks are not enough. Motivation is not enough. At some point the external factor that keeps us going, may not motivate us anymore. And then what? Usually we have some sort of crisis. We need discipline and commitment to be able to put in the work day in and day out, year after year to sustain our processes.

What is Ontology? Simply put, it studies the being, the existence. Why I went there? Well I had to go to the core of it. Being in a rollercoaster of emotional dynamics competing on the pro tour, I had to understand more. So I became an ICF Certified Ontological Coach under the guidance of Marco Leone, founder of APC Argentina. Studying Ontology completely shifted the way I understand human dynamics, giving me a new outlook on how I look at tennis players, not only as soldiers hitting a tennis ball, but as human beings with emotions and internal conversations which are crucial to their performance.

A pivotal part of my career was when I started working with Javier Capitaine, Head Coach and Founder of Global Systemic Activation, a methodology that I am a part of and work with daily. Basically it's been tried and tested by me :) and by all the other BIG BIG names he has works with. Capi showed me another approach to training and a different perspective on life. We as humans are an indivisible unit of Body/Mind/Emotion; nothing works separately and everything is integrated. Looking at the person as a whole has changed the way I coach and the way I understand myself. Together we are now running GSA and work with different athletes and academies around the world.

Why would you be interested in taking sessions with me?:) Tough to answer without sounding commercial…and it's really not my style. But I guess I learned to speak the language of tennis and I know I can be a possibility for anyone interested in learning and enjoying this beautiful sport.

See you on court! :)
